First, remember that everything does not have to match. In fact, it is more traditional if you use a variety of patterns on your tea table. An interesting table is created by using a variety of shapes and patterns. Choose a floral teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl. Add a crystal cake stand or several silver tiered trays for visual interest. Use varying heights on you table by covering a simple shoe box with lovely linens trimmed in lace. Make your tea party special by using a variety of cups and saucers in different floral patterns. Tiered cookie plates are also available now in many elegant patterns. Sprinkle rose petals on the table and add a rose centerpiece for a truly elegant affair.  Remember that tea party accessories are the finishing touch for a memorable afternoon.
